Bergen Ukulele Club (BUG) is a group of enthusiastic music lovers who play the ukulele every Thursday night at6:30pm in Cresskill, New Jersey. We are about 1 year old and invite any ukulele enthusiast from beginner to expert.
We will have each person assigned to a week of the month. That person will choose 2 songs and we will vote on which song to use as a group. The group will learn that song and practice it throughout the week. Some weeks will be free weeks, where you choose your own song to learn.
Group of all levels of ukulele players and singers from Cape Cod Massachusetts.
We meet on Tuesday nights for big group practice at Harwich Community Center at 7pm.
Director is Cathy Hatch. We have performances and work out of different book every month.
Ukulele Players, Baritone, Banjo or C tuning are welcome to join us. Since Covid 19, we Zoom Jam on Sunday Nights at 7pm Eastern.
Back in the day when we could be together, we practiced in the Upper and Lower Cape areas once a week, and had 4-5 shows every month.
This is a fun club where uke players ages 13-18 come together to play ukulele once a month in a select location and they give tips, tricks, and help build the music community. There will also be a monthly video chat ukulele jam session and meeting every month
